On May 24^th 2015, 22 people including Sunlion staff and their family members started a 7-day trip to Yunnan. After Sunlion staff’s busy and hard work in the first half year, the company awarded  all staff a facility trip. In the meantime, the trip was to encourage Sunlion staff to make persistent efforts and do better job in the second half year. The trip also enriched employees’ social life and enhanced the communication among employees, which made the company more harmonious so as to promote staff’s cohesive force.

The whole trip was 7 days altogether. In the afternoon of arrival in Kunming, we tasted a must-eat delicacy in Yunnan –crossing the bridge noodles. Afterwards we strolled around Nanping Ancient Street and beautiful Yunnan University, getting ready for the following tour with joy.

In the early morning on 25^th, we went to Shuanglang Ancient Town, a famous dancer Yang Liping’s hometown. This ancientis considered one of the most livable towns. There’s a saying that goes: “Enjoy landscape of Dali in Canger (short for Cang Mountain and Er Sea). Enjoy landscape of Canger in Shuanglang.” Then we went to Lijiang, an ancient city located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Lijiang has a history of more than 800 years and is listed in the World Heritage. Experiencing local culture is one of the most interesting things during travel. We went to Xizhou Ossifrage Base to watch ossifrage performance and tea performance of Baiethnicity. “Three tea” is a Bai ethnic tea tradition, which means “firstbitter, second sweet and third aftertaste”.

Religion is also an important part in local culture. In Dali, there is a Chongsheng Temple. It’s the only temple in south-east Asia where Buddha statues were blessed by golden light. It was blessed by 108 eminent monks from all over the world. We were all lost in the wonder of the temple’s magnificence and solemnness.

On the third day, we followed the Ancient Tea Route on horse to learn more history about this important international trade route. In beautiful Lashihai, we also rolled small boats and ate grilled fish, which was joyful.

One of the highlights of this trip should be Tiger Leaping Gorge. We hiked in one of the world’s deepest and most spectacular river canyons on the fourth day.The Tiger Leaping Gorge features a variety of micro-ecosystems and waterfalls.

Jade Dragon Mountain is another highlight during this trip. The height of Jade Dragon Mountain is 5596 meters. The mountain top is covered with snow all year round. However, under the mountain, trees are still green. The melting ice formed yak and cascading pools, which look like crystals from a distance.

Our final destination was Stone Forest. It is the only karst landform located in subtropical plateau area. The tall rocks seem to fall to the ground in the manner of stalagmites with many looking like petrified trees thereby creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. Even though it was very hot, the Stone Forest was worth a visit.

We finished our unforgettable Yunnan trip on 30^th. Looking back on this trip, we are ready for new work. We believe that everyone will be more energetic and put more passion into work. We will strive to contribute to Sunlion family.
